020. Mysterious Flower

This flower caught my attention while I was walking around FAU campus. The bud reminded me of a shack, the flower was gigantic and it looks a little scary.
I will be off from 365 project for the rest of the year, whole month of December. I will return in the new year.

This was the first time I see paddle surf while I was hanging out at Delray beach. It looks like a tough sport.

017. Bon Fire

On Black Friday, Lake Worth hosted bon fire with a live band at its beach park. It was a great event to add to the Thankgivings weekend activities, and I was happy to be a citizen of this town.

016. Blue Moon

It is called Blue Moon but it is the second full moon of the month as most people considered. It happened to be the 3rd full Moon of the Fall season and this season happens to have four full moons, read more about it here.

What Lake Worth has to offer beside the beach, a small town with a downtown and a great gay community.

014. Old Timer

I was walking around on Lincoln Rd in Miami and the display of a men's clothing store caught my attention. They have this and a few hundred more of the similar classic Singer sewing machine as props for their window display. These machines reminded me of my family's old sewing machine and the time I sneaked around to practice on it while others did not pay attention. This photograph brought back those good old memories that I tressured :-)

I saw this car outside a bar at Singer Island beach. It is fitting for a 50s movie. Seeing this car make me feel a moment of classic.

My city, Lake Worth, at Dusk in fall. The view is looking toward the inner city as people begin to pour into downtown for dinner. Another nice thing about Lake Worth Downtown is that it has free parking along the main street, which is a rare thing to find in South Florida.

City Place got dressed up for the coming up holiday season, they even have fake snow. As the winter is approaching I miss Alaska a little specially the white powdery snow however I do not miss the cold weather. Short and t-shirt is what I want to wear for Christmas :-P

005. Stories

For the previous two posts, I was playing catchup for missing posts from the past weekend :-P Monday, weather was still a little cold, so a hot cup of tea was a perfect choice. The first thought came to my mind when I first saw this photo was capitalism, most of us here in the US do enjoy our convenient coffee at SB. A closer look at the new advertisement for the coming holiday, "Stories Are Gifts - Share", like how these coffee helped us to engage in conversations with friends and share our stories. It also brought up the thought of Life filled with Stories that shall be shared and cherished.

Fire usually relates to heat but I was cold when I took this picture. The weather turned cold that night @ the Arts & Music Festival in WPB ...urggggg....

003. Table Football

A simple game of you and me, red and blue. This was one of the few games that I played in my youth, I still remember the competitive spirit this game had brought to the kids in my old neighborhood. It is a rare game to see nowadays, this table football was located in an Irish Pub in Hollywood.

002. Rain

As a kid I loved to play in the rain, and this bird reminded me of those times. Rain was more like an enchantment during my playtime, especially when it rained hard. The harsh stream of water that runs down from the gutter was my favorite, I would stand below it to catch all the water as if I was collecting something special.

001. Contemplating

I visited Anglins Beach in the afternoon when the rainy weather was moving through the area. I learned that the Anglins Pier opens 24 hours.. yeah!!!.. When public beach or pier open all the time it gives me a sense of FREEDOM, love it (^.^)

Time has became my best friend recently and I spend a lot of it at the beach. Yesterday I have a pleasure to be at Singer Island beach during the dusk hours to capture the sun as it says goodbye for the day, it was a powerful scene (^.^)

Hobe Sound in the Fall

I have been away for over a month dued to moving and work issues. September was a blank month, hopefully October will fill up with colorful posts like the Fall season as the leaves changing it's outfit. Last week I had a chance to cruise by Hobe Sound and captured these photos near the entrance to the beach and city town center. The tree aligned along the way to the beach was beautiful.

August Full Moon

The misty cloud hovered in front of the full moon like a bridge's veil. Such a serene atmosphere!

Rainbow over Palm Beach

Hurricane season is here and afternoon rain is the normal. As the rain moving in, this rainbow appears over Palm Beach I was on my way home from work.

The bridge maids dresses was colorful and it matched perfectly with the tropical theme. I was the not official 2nd shooter at the event and the pictures turned out very good. I am happy with the result and happy that I was able to capture these images on such a special day

Textured Pink

Last night I was up until mid-night gathering textures and today i got to used it. I feel like it is still missing something, I will have to play around to get some experience with these new textures.

Yellow & Green

As the spring about to leave and summer about to comes, I saw this patch of dandelion on my way to work for that past few weeks. The first time I see it I told myself that I would return to photography it on my way home in that afternoon. However I was consumed by others thoughts on my way home and forget about it. The next day it was gone :-( another lesson learn, never leave things for next time specially when it is photographic relative. So I wanted for two weeks and the flowers return, this time I drove pass it and I make every effort to turn around part and spend 10 mins with this wonderful golden flowers. This is one of my favor shot of that series, I crop it down. It was taken with 85mm f1.8 iso100 @ 1/500.

Orange & Purple

The Sky of May during Sunset hours mixed with traffic patterns and twinkles from distance lights. It is the first time I tried to dragged my shutter to create the trailing effect from car headlights, it came out nice and the starry effect is asurprise.

Reaching to Heaven in Spring

I discovered this flower on my walk last week, this pose creates a sense of lightness and reaching to above. Spring season is so nice, the blue sky helps a lot and the weather is perfectly cool

Old Tree Replacement

They replaced the old tree with these Orange ones, no comparison. My old tree friends were wiser and came with experiences and charisma. I miss you trees

PrideFest 2010 Lake Worth

Full of life and fun! This is my 4th time attending this yearly event. One of the many reasons I enjoy living in Lake Worth and its downtown.

On My Daily Lunch Walk I Discoverd

Since it is spring, the sky is clear blue, often I just want to reach out my hand to touch the sky and to bring it blueness down to my level. These leaves-less tree reminded me of how I feel during this season, cool and calm.
I have walk by these trees for the past year. The way it skin aged reminds me of old age. The interesting thing is that these cracks have been there since I can remember of walking pass it.

It many layers like the layers of human mind, emotion, thoughts, ideas... how it all hold on to each other even at old age.

When time comes, it will return to it begin like the return to dust at the end of being.
